Business Wire and OnePoll have been confirmed as co-sponsors of Women in PR for the remainder of 2016 and throughout 2017.

Business Wire, the global leader in press release distribution and regulatory disclosure, has sponsored Women in PR for the past two years by supporting the events programme. Joining Business Wire as a co-sponsor is consumer and B2B market research company OnePoll, which specialise in PR surveys, UK and international online research and data visualisation.

Kim Deonanan, regional vice president, northern & central Europe, Business Wire said:

“Women in PR is an exceptional organisation, and we are delighted to continue supporting senior women in the industry.”

Earlier this year, OnePoll became the research partner for the 2016 Women in PR annual survey and also supported the group’s Summer Networking Drinks.

Asa Baaw, commercial director, 72Point and OnePoll said:

Women in PR has a uniquely powerful role in PR, and Women in PR is unique in its focus on advancing women’s careers and closing the gender pay gap through mentoring, networking and collaboration. We are proud to support Women in PR in these efforts.”

Mary Whenman, president, Women in PR commented:

“We are delighted that Business Wire has renewed their sponsorship for a third year and that OnePoll are becoming co-sponsors. As a not-for-profit, voluntary organisation we would not be able to deliver such an extensive programme of events without their sponsorship. Their support means we are able to subsidise our ticket prices and reach a wider group of women working in PR.”
