I know I’m lucky. I continue to be happy with my career in PR and I’m more than two decades in.

But whilst it’s an industry that I admire, one all about people, relationships, big thinking and creativity, it has a major flaw: it’s still staggeringly male and white at the very top. Women in PR play a significant role in addressing this and I’m thrilled, honoured and fired up, to play a role in achieving balance and equality (for all) in an industry I love.

To my younger self I would say…

“Failure and f*ck ups are inevitable if you want to try new things. Embrace them! It’s the twists and turns that will make you resilient and provide you with the biggest lessons.”
