PR Week / Women in PR 2017 Mentoring Scheme Finalists Announced

Published on:

Written by Women in PR

The Women in PR Committee are delighted to announce the names of the successful candidates for this year’s Women in PR / PR Week mentoring scheme, which aims to nurture the next generation of female leaders in the PR industry by matching talented women with senior PR professionals.

Each will be matched with a mentor – an experienced female PR figure – who will offer guidance through face-to-face meetings and ongoing communication. The project, in its third year, is a joint initiative between PRWeek and Women in PR, and is designed to tackle the lack of female leaders in communications.

The 15 mentees were chosen following an online application process and a rigorous judging session by the members of the Women in PR Committee. Each has now been allocated a mentor, matched to her current role and specific career challenges and goals. The list of mentees and mentors can be found below. We will report back on the experiences of our mentees towards the end of the scheme on the Women in PR blog. PR Week supports the scheme and will also publish sporadic updates.
