Now in its 8th year, the Women in PR Mentoring programme, in partnership with PR Week will open its virtual doors on the 9th June at 5-6.30pm for potential applicants to get the chance to meet, network and ask more questions about the scheme direct to this year’s cohort of mentors.
The acclaimed scheme, which has an overarching aim of empowering women to move into leadership roles within the industry, received more than 120 applications in 2020, with over 30 mentees supported, and the team are expecting demand to be high again this year, especially on the back of what has been a very challenging year for our industry.
With an incredible line up of mentors for 2021, applicants will get the opportunity to be paired with the crème de la crème of senior leaders across consumer, luxury, corporate and public sectors and a range of agency and in-house environments.
For the second year running the scheme will once again include our brilliant Women In PR Cymru chapter, welcoming both Welsh mentors and mentees to the 2021 cohort.
