About this Event
We’ll be speaking to people at the centre of crisis communications during the pandemic – learning about the work they’ve been doing, the impact it’s had on them professionally and personally, how they’ve demonstrated leadership and how they’ve coped.
Episode 2
Our second event will focus on views from the health frontline – with some honest and inspiring insights from three women at the centre of COVID19.
We’ll hear from Joanne Brandon (Director of Communications at Cardiff and Vale Health Board), Lee Leyshon (Head of Communications at Swansea Bay University Health Board) and Karen Newman (Head of Communications at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board).
They’ll talk about the tough choices they’ve had to make; mobilising teams and resources at the epicentre of the pandemic; how they’ve used creativity to connect with the public and how they’ve dealt with the emotional effects of the job.
