  • Managing all event logistics, including:
      • Drafting compelling event copy and invitations.
      • Overseeing guest list management.
      • Organizing venues, food and beverage, event staffing, and photography (for more significant events).
      • Attendance at events
  • Partnering with the Sponsorship team to source, collaborate with, and manage relationships with agencies and industry partners that provide venues or catering in exchange for brand visibility.
  • Working with the Social Media and Communications team to promote events, drive attendance, and strengthen WiPR’s reputation as an inclusive, value-driven organization.
  • Engaging with Events Shadow Members, inviting their input, and offering opportunities for growth and learning.

What experience do I need?

  • Planning and executing professional events.
  • Coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including sponsors and team members.
  • Managing event logistics and communications.
  • Promoting events through social and digital channels – working with our social media team.
  • Building relationships with agency and industry partners.

What skills are you looking for?

  • Creativity: Designing events that excite and engage.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with diverse teams and partners.
  • Organisation: Keeping track of multiple details and timelines.
  • Proactivity: Anticipating challenges and opportunities.
  • Communication: Clear and compelling messaging across all platforms.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ensuring events align with WiPR’s goals.

What’s the commitment?

Approximately 2-3 hours per week (8-10 hours per month), with some additional time for key events.

What’s the big picture?

We’re looking for someone passionate about creating opportunities and making the PR industry a better place for women. If you love connecting people and delivering meaningful experiences, we’d love to hear from you!

How to apply
