CPD is gaining momentum

Last week, Women in PR attended the second CPD board meeting at the PRCA office. Women in PR has been a partner since the programme launched last year and it was great to see so many of our attendees logging points for our panel debates and networking events.

Even writing a blog about an industry topic or discipline can earn you ten points. It really is easy to get involved.

If you’ve already signed up, you don’t have long to log all your points. I was amazed to see that so many people have already completed enough activity that they were ready for their accreditation.

For those of you coming to the Women in PR and Women in PA Post-Truth event at Teneo Blue Rubicon next week, this can earn you points. We will also be hosting a drinks reception in Edinburgh at #PRFest where a whole day could earn you 40 points.

You can search our events for the past three months by going to the origin tab and selecting ‘Women in PR’. As I mentioned previously, the scheme is open to EVERYONE. You don’t have to be a member of the PRCA to take part. CPD raises the standards of our profession, at every level.

Keep your eye out for the new CPD logo!
