Apply here

What’s the role?

The role of Partnerships Member covers two areas that complement each other. One is to seek out and establish sponsors to support the range of WIPR activities we put on. The other is to help build our community and the reach of what we do and the impact that we make for our members. We do this by forming partnerships with other networks who share our values and advocacy on similar issues, and support our diversity goals.

What will I be doing?

  • Developing a plan to identify, engage and win new sponsors and partners by working across the Committee to understand needs based on activities we are putting on and issues we are advocating for
  • Building our pitch deck to engage and encourage new sponsors and partners
  • Developing and securing sponsorship and partnership deals
  • Identifying partner conversations that we can lend our voice to
  • Setting KPIs and measuring performance
  • Responding and engaging with our community, sponsors and partners
  • Joining monthly committee meetings and attending events, representing WiPR

What experience do I need?

  • Communication skills
  • Writing and delivering pitches
  • Stakeholder engagement

What skills are you looking for?

  • Proactivity
  • Collaboration
  • Networking and ability to build new relationships
  • Ability to work alongside multiple teams and work streams
  • Strategic thinking
  • Positivity

Above all, we are looking for someone who is passionate about making the PR industry a better place for women. The role requires approximately 2-3 hours time commitment a week, or approx. 10 hours a month.

How to apply

If you would like to put yourself forward to join our busy, passionate and friendly WiPR team of volunteers, then please do consider nominating yourself.  All roles have a two year tenure.

If you know someone who currently isn’t a member but who could really add value to our work, do please encourage them to put themselves forward and join as a member.

We’d love to hear why you want to join us.  You can nominate yourself by clicking on the link below.

Simply nominate yourself by using this form

In addition to being a member of WiPR (or willing to become one), nominees will need to provide their name, job title, company name and we will also ask for voluntary disclosure of diversity data.

We look for a wide range of different voices and lived experiences to make sure our committee is reflective of the entire women in PR community.

So what are you waiting for?  If you want to join us, please throw your hat in the ring.

Applications are open from now until 12th January 2025.  Once we have all applications, we will ask our members to vote.  We’ll let you know when the voting opens.  Our successful applicants will be announced at our AGM at the end of January.
